Your Property Can Help Change a Veteran's Life.
Join Veterans National Housing Network and help expand access to safe, stable, and affordable housing for America's veterans while building a professional housing partnership.
Good Properties. Good Partnerships. Greater Purpose.
VNHN is building relationships with homeowners, apartment communities, property managers, investors, developers, and housing providers who want to create more quality housing opportunities for veterans.
Professional Point of Contact
A dedicated VNHN relationship gives owners a clear place to communicate about referrals, placements, and partnership questions.
Long-Term Opportunities
We seek stable owner relationships that can grow from one property or unit into an ongoing housing partnership.
Reduced Vacancy Potential
Connecting available homes with veteran housing referrals can help owners reach qualified prospective residents more efficiently.
Mission-Driven Impact
Your property can provide more than a place to live—it can offer stability, dignity, and a fresh start.
Your Property Can Become a Veteran’s Home.
Every quality housing partnership can create stability, dignity, and a fresh start for a veteran or veteran family.

A Simple Path to Partnership
Contact VNHN
Tell us about your property, availability, rental terms, and the partnership structures you would consider.
Property Review
Our team reviews the property's location, condition, capacity, accessibility, and fit for current housing needs.
Choose the Structure
We discuss the appropriate VNHN partnership arrangement, including a corporate/master lease, voucher-supported housing where applicable, dedicated veteran units, or another approved written partnership.
Veterans Housed
Once the applicable screening and agreement requirements are completed, the property can become part of the VNHN housing network.
One Network. Multiple Ways to Participate.
Not every property or owner needs the same arrangement. VNHN can explore the structure that best fits the property, program, and veteran being served.
Corporate / Master Lease
For qualifying properties and approved programs, VNHN may enter into a written lease with the owner and operate the property for an authorized veteran housing purpose.
Voucher-Friendly Housing
Owners willing to work with HUD-VASH or other eligible rental-assistance programs can make units available for appropriate veteran referrals.
Dedicated Veteran Units
Apartment communities and property managers may identify selected available units for ongoing referral through the VNHN network.
Shared Veteran Residences
Where permitted by applicable zoning, occupancy, licensing, and lease requirements, suitable homes may be considered for approved shared-housing models.
Specialized Housing
Accessible, senior-friendly, family-sized, or other specialized properties may support specific VNHN veteran housing initiatives.
Protecting the Partnership Matters.
VNHN understands that property owners need clarity about rent, property condition, resident responsibilities, inspections, maintenance, and damage protection before entering a housing arrangement.
For VNHN-managed housing arrangements, VNHN accepts responsibility for rent as established in the executed agreement and for all resident-caused property damage beyond normal wear and tear.
Partnership Agreements May Address
- Rent payment responsibilities and due dates
- Security deposits or other agreed protections
- Property inspections and condition documentation
- Maintenance and repair responsibilities
- Resident conduct and occupancy requirements
- All resident-caused damage beyond normal wear and tear, for which VNHN accepts responsibility
- Insurance requirements
- Move-in and move-out procedures
Pre-existing conditions, ordinary wear and tear, owner maintenance items, casualty losses, and damage not caused by a VNHN resident are excluded. Resident-caused damage beyond normal wear and tear is VNHN's responsibility.
